Trailer Services

Trailer Service

Staged trailers for on-site overflow storage, or scheduled live loads when you need a truck on a fixed window. Tractor-and-van trailer service for high-volume Chicagoland recycling generators.

Two trailer programs. one fleet.

Loop-Trailer-Services

Whether you need a trailer parked at your dock as overflow storage, or a truck arriving on a set schedule for a live load, we run both — with the same dispatch team, the same drivers, and the same Chicagoland routes.

Staged trailer service: we drop a 53' van trailer at your facility and leave it as extended on-site storage. You load at your own pace using your forklift or pallet jack. When the trailer is full, we swap it for an empty. Staged trailers are popular with manufacturers, distribution centers, and large retailers that have the yard space but want to stay in control of their loading schedule.

Live load service: the tractor arrives on a scheduled pickup window or first-come-first-serve basis, and your team loads it during a single visit. The driver waits, the load goes on, and the truck departs. Live load is the right model when yard space is tight, or your loading crew can dedicate a forklift during a known time window.

Some customers operate their own trucks and trailers and prefer to deliver material directly to one of our facilities — see our Delivered In / Self-Haul program for that. LTL (Less Than Truckload) is technically possible but uncommon in recycling because freight overhead eats most of the rebate. If you generate less than a full trailer, our box truck service is almost always a better fit.

When does trailer service make sense?

Consistent High Volume

You generate a full trailer of recyclables every week or two and want to avoid running out of dock space.

Limited Storage Footprint

Use a staged trailer as temporary warehousing. Keep the floor clear of loose material, gaylords, and pallets.

Predictable Shift Schedules

Live loads work beautifully for facilities that can dedicate a forklift and crew during a scheduled window.

Multi-Material Operations

Need to sort OCC, mixed paper, and plastics across different trailers? We'll stage as many as your yard can hold.

Distribution & Fulfillment

Warehouses with continuous inbound freight generating large volumes of corrugated and stretch wrap.

Manufacturing Campuses

Multi-building operations producing steady fiber, plastic, and mixed-material recyclables across multiple shifts.

How trailer service works .

01

Site assessment

We confirm dock height, yard space, swing room, and material mix to recommend staged vs. live load.

02

Drop the trailer

Empty van arrives at your facility. You load at your own pace — or during a scheduled live-load window.

03

Call for swap

Full trailer? Dispatch sends a tractor to pull it and drop another empty in its place. Same-day or next-day, by route.

04

Weigh and settle

The load is weighed at our MRF. Rebates or service invoicing are handled by your dedicated account rep.

What Happens After Pickup?

After materials are collected, they are documented, processed, and managed through responsible recycling channels to maximize material recovery and reuse.

  • Paper, Plastic, & Metal Materials
Collected materials are sorted, baled, and shipped to mills, where it is used as recovered material to manufacture new products.
  • Products, Packaging & Mixed Materials
Materials are separated and processed so recyclable fiber, metal, and plastic components can re‑enter the supply chain. Any remaining non‑recyclable material is responsibly managed.
